Our little man is not too little anymore! He is walking ~and
trying to run~ everywhere. He is always in discovery mode and loves to watch and look at anything and everything.
Just the other day I saw him peeking out the window making noise to capture the attention of whatever was outside...I
looked out and here he was "talking" to the people on the porch across the street! He is officially "Mayor Shambaugh"
as he constantly is waving at people and cars going by the house. He is so incredibly nosey and makes us laugh.
Often he is being too nosey to concentrate on anything else!
Greyson has visited the local playground and loves it! He goes down
the tube slide on his own and can crawl up the stairs, through the tunnel, and up more stairs to get to the top of the
slide! He laughs with delight as he gets on his belly and slides on down! He is all boy! He loves the swings there
and squeels because it makes his tummy tickle.
Greyson recently has become a member of the New Bloomfield Public
Library. His first books were about Farm Animals and another one about Tractors. He also got a movie, FRANKLIN
LOSES A BOOK.
Jamie and I took Greyson for his first official "big boy" haircut.
It ended up being a bit shorter (as in buzz cut short) than we had anticipated, but we laughed with delight! He definitely
lost all his "baby" with his hair and now looks like a toddler! How quickly time flew by...i can't believe his
"baby stage" is nearly over.
As always, Greyson still loves to eat. He has been taste testing
things on our plates at dinner time, but still likes his baby food. He is now on whole milk and no longer drinks from
a bottle but instead from a sippy cup. He loves to split a banana (lengthwise only!) with his Daddy. He crawls
up on his Daddy's lap and has a snack with him like this on most Saturday mornings!
Well, as you can tell Greyson is keeping us all busy and VERY HAPPY!
He makes us laugh and our hearts light all day long! I will close for now and I hope to update you all a little more
often!
